Facial Five

This week’s facial five was all about combating my breakouts.

Cleanse: I used Jan Marini Bioglycolic Cleanser (code 093623 will give you a discount off your first purchase) with the Clarisonic brush. This cleanser works best when applied with dry hands to a dry face.  Add a bit of water to the Clarisonic and work the cleanser in.  It won’t foam up.  –Remove with a warm wet towel.

Scrub: Jan Marini Holiday Scrub (sold out) I still have a bit of this left and it works amazingly on breakouts.  The glycolic acid mixed with the scrub really gives a deep clean.  I like to leave it on for a few minutes after working it in so the glycolic acid gets time to really set in.

Treat: Clinique Acne Solution Clarifying Lotion I like this BPO mix because it doesn’t dry my skin out but still works really fast.  I don’t use it every day but a few days a week instead.

Anti-Aging: Regeneration Booster

Retinol: Strivectin Advanced Retinol Pore Refiner This Retinol blend is strong so be careful using it the first it can cause some mild flaking.

Eye Cream: Jan Marini Luminate Eye Gel

Such great tips – maybe a little more helpful if you actually had a skin problem 😉 — you have such gorgeous complexion. I need all the help I can get. I would totally have been perplexed about applying a cleanser to dry skin and wiping it off.

    • Thanks, Vi I work hard at keeping my skin on point! This cleanser is special and works best when it isn’t diluted by water. I don’t recommend all cleansers applied dry but this one works really well that way.
