Reading has always brought me peace and joy. I love falling into a story and just forgetting everything else. Novels, sagas, history, and even economics books are my favorite treat. Here are a few I finished lately and LOVED.
The Best Books to Read on Vacation
- One To Watch by Kate Stayman-London is funny and smart and a cute take on the Bachelor craze.
- The Boyfriend Project by Farrah Rochon I laughed SOOOO hard from the first few pages. I love the strong and smart female leads and just the way the story played out. This is perfect if you need a break from 2020/2021 and want to laugh.
- The Taste of Luxury by Nadege Forestier and Nazanine Ravai I think we all know I have a deep love for luxury items but I also love the history of designer goods. For a brief time, this summer Bernald Arnault was the richest man in the world. His credits include bringing Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tag Heuer, and Moet Hennesy plus more all under one roof. This book (while out of print and now super expensive!) tells the story of how Bernard did it! Such an amazing story of a guy going from lower middle class to the richest man in the world!
- The Lion’s Den by Katherine St. John A nail bitter with a bit of fun. Kinda a mix between Bachelor gone wrong, Mean Girls, and your favorite Real Housewives franchise with a bit of darkness. I flew through this book and thought it a great escape from everyday tasks.
