I love Preston Bailey! He created two stunning flower sculptures in the lobby of the Wynn. One was a carousel and one a hot-air-balloon filled with Hermes,Chanel and Judith Leiber treats!
Next stop was dinner at La Cava… the small plates are perfect after travel and one of the best meals I had.
I started the next day at the Encore Las Vegas Spa!! The facilities are STUNNING!!
Spa lobby.
A tip… get there right when it opens and you will have the whole place to yourself! I went back a few days later around 4pm and the place was crowded… uncomfortably so.
Treatment waiting room.
Dry heat my FAVE!!
One of the best water ritual rooms I have ever experienced. 104-degree soaking pools, 70-degree plunge pool and an 80-degree plunge pool. Also, waterfall showers and pressure showers! Loved it.
I did the Mediterranean body wrap… it was terrible. I don’t recommend it at all. I was so sad.
Emeril’s sports bar at the Venitian was really comfy to enjoy a day of games, wings and bloody marys.
Where to eat dinner tonight…
Dinner at the Lakeside Steakhouse at the Wynn… a really superb meal!
This guy winked at me twice… so I just couldn’t make him my dinner.
Dessert sampler! Peanut butter cup, salted carmel truffles and something I don’t remember the name of.
I had to try the famous buffet the next day before I left! It did NOT disappoint.

Meet Doran
I started Haute Beauty Guide in 2008 as a way to stay in touch with my skincare clients between appointments. At first, I only covered skincare but HBG grew with me as my life evolved— from traveling around the world, heading back to college after taking a long break, buying our first home, to getting my first gray hair! Monterey is my home and I take the lifestyle here to heart.
