I have a DEEP addiction to Diet Coke so in an effort to drink less of it I tried out a dozen trendy healthy drink ideas. These are the only 3 I liked out of the dozen! 🤣
Healthy Drink Ideas
HealthAde Kambucha with sparkling water. I prefer the cherry berry and pink lady flavors. Just fill a glass 3/4 full with your preferred flavor and add in a bit of bubbly water to top it off. I like these because they taste great and you can make them “adult”! To add a bit of fancy to it I add some muddled berries.
I take one of these every morning. I swear it helps keep me from getting sick. To make things easier I juice a bunch of ginger and keep it in an airtight jar in the fridge. I then fill a cup 1/4-1/2 and then add water and a squeeze of lemon. Drink as fast as you can! It BURNS going down.
I like to add turmeric when I can find it at my local market.
Out of the pulp, I make tea! I scoop up a large bit and stuff it into a cotton tea bag. Steep 2 minutes, squeeze in a bit of lemon, honey and sometimes I steam coconut milk to make it a latte. This is my favorite treat at night.
That pulp isn’t done though! I dry it out and then crush it and put it back in one of the tea bags. Pop it into a hot bath along with 1 cup Epsom salt and 1 cup of baking soda when you feel a cold coming on. I sip cold water while I am in the bath to help stay cool and soak longer. I rarely ever get sick but when I do I use this soaking recipe and I swear it helps pass the cold faster.
