I recently revealed my newly updated living room on Snapchat (hautebeautyblog) last week. I had some people asking where I got a few things so I thought I would blog about it. Here is a link to the original room. I kept most of the pieces from before and added a few new pieces like the gold coffee table and stool and the oversized mirror. I also rearranged where everything went.
KP and I love to watch movies. We have been known to buy every new release on Tuesdays, make a giant bowl of popcorn and binge watch all of them. I regret teaching KP about Hulu, Netflix and HBO Go! He now is a binge watch pro. Lol. We both like comfy furniture and simple decor. I knew in this house I wanted all white/cream… I didn’t anticipate getting another dog or that he would be such a tornado! It took forever for us to pick a couch. We went back and forth between several but ultimately chose this one from Pottery Barn. I loved that they allowed us to customize it completely to meet our needs. Also, we can order replacement pillows every time Louis destroys one!
I saw this coffee table, mirror, and stool in the PB catalog not too long ago and instantly knew I had to have them. They match our antique chandelier perfectly. This chandelier was in our last home that belonged to KP’s family. When we moved I knew I had to bring it with us.
Ultimately, our living room is a mix of family pieces, things from KP’s first home, my home, our first home together and new items. It blends perfectly into a casual, comfortable and cozy spot for us to unwind our day.
I am redoing the dining room now and I can’t wait to show it to everyone in a few weeks!
Thanks for stopping by and reading!!
