Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

I love this chic dress from Jenni Kayne. Perfect for running errands, lounging around the house, or sitting out back with a glass of wine.

Cruising along the coast on a bike seems like the only outdoor activities still allowed here in Monterey. Walking and loitering or gathering is definitely still a no-go. This Bluejay Electric bike makes the ride more cruise and less stress.

House of Cardoon is one of my favorite shops in Carmel-by-the-Sea and now they are online! This perfect pink rainbow heart is a 1980’s Carebear throwback that gives all the feels. One of my other faves it this lucky coin necklace.

A good skincare routine is every Mom’s best friend! Chasing after kids packs on the stress. This gold bar facial massager, Vintner’s Daughter Active Treatment Essence serum keeps skin glowing! Pair both or either with my newest obsession–this Youth To The People facial wash. It feels luxurious and healthy while leaving the skin soft and supple.

Pair this perfect Mom tote by Clair V with this wardrobe uniform staple from Grayson. This shirt is perfect for a casual breakfast, afternoon pickups, kids birthday parties, trips to the park, and workdays! I am obsessed with this shirt and I have it in like 10 different prints/fabrics. Some gifted from Grayson’s PR team and many that I have bought myself.

For the last three years, I take cooking and baking lessons at Aubergine in Carmel. The classes are fun, informative, and a real treat to myself. Thankfully I learned to bake the best brioche loaves and cook up some pretty awesome meals with random things I find in my fridge! Now that they have a Michelin star the classes are hard to get into so plan in advance!

Theragun is the one thing on this list I don’t actually own and it is at the top of my wishlist! I was spoiled in massage class years ago when we received a massage daily. Now I am lucky if I can get to see a friend or pop into a spa once every few months. I actually have a drawer full of spa gift certificates that I can’t believe haven’t been used yet! This little device helps alleviate pain and discomfort anytime from home!

I love fresh flowers all year long but hate the generic vases they come with. This beauty from Jenni Kayne is stunning in my entry hall, dining room, and kitchen. Grab a great bunch from your local farmer’s market or something chicer from Grace Rose Farms in Santa Inez, CA (they ship across the US) or Fleurs du Soliel in Monterey.
