My office space if finally complete! I feel like we waited FOREVER (over 4 months) for this desk to arrive from CB2. Lesson learned there for sure. Over the last year, my blog has grown and I needed a space that could hold more people and my husband wanted all the press samples, computers, and cameras off our dining room table! Since I work full time at my spa working from home was hard to stay motivated. I would constantly get caught up watching a movie or cleaning something. I really needed a blog only space.
I searched forever for this space. I wanted it to be really affordable and in the Pacific Grove area since we are looking to buy a house over there soon. PG is awesome because it still has that small town vibe kinda like the Gilmore Girls town and everywhere is walkable. My office is just a few blocks from the ocean and is next to a pretty cute park that Louis thinks is his office. The place was recently renovated so I had a nice slate to work with. It has enough space for my photographer, assistant and myself all to be there at the same time… plus our furry friends. The only downside is it does not have any windows.
I am on the hunt for the blush pink CB2 file cabinets. They are pretty hard to find so no luck so far. In the mean time, these teal ones from my old spa are perfect. These Ikea shelves were from my old college apartment that I still had in our storage unit! They work perfectly for makeup and samples storage.
I found these adorable blush pink armchairs at Target! They keep selling out so if you see them grab them fast. The end tables have some fun games that I have received from LV as Christmas gifts over the years.
This buffet and lamps are from Wayfair and are perfect to hold snacks and photography supplies.
Shortly after I moved… the day I did… the landlord informed me the heating system in the building didn’t work! The Winter months were super cold in Pacific Grove and the office has no windows which made it even colder. I found this cute electric heater and fireplace cover at Wayfair. It is Louis’s favorite.
