This isolation period is really starting to get to me! I am actually starting to miss human interaction and staying connected. I always thought I could run off and live in isolation somewhere but I realize I need my connections to friends and family. Extra grateful for video chat right now so I can at least laugh and catch up with friends.
I have had the same group of friends since middle school and I don’t think I’ve talked to them as much in the last 20 years as I have in the last 3 weeks. It is crazy that we live all over the world and are experiencing the exact same things.
Working from home with a toddler. What to cook for dinner. Ways to keep our kids busy for a few minutes while we get something (or everything) done.
I love that I can call any of them and ask for a tip or just complain or just listen to their day for a little break in my quarantine. It is times like this that you realize your “family” extends to a bigger circle. This small group is helping me get through this intense bit of fear, uncertainty, and isolation.
Today’s family has different needs. That is why Everedn has different skincare. I was so excited to be able to gift a few of my friends a few of my favorite @everedenbrands skincare products for baby and mom!
The HEALING BALM has been a real go-to lately with all this handwashing and stress. It only has a handful of ingredients, all of them organic superfoods, and it really soothes dry hands, lips and so much more. It works GREAT on new Mom’s learning to breastfeed and dealing with chapped nipples.
For the past few weeks, I layer a bit of the on my hands, lips, and cuticles before bed to help soothe. Pair it with the LIFT AND FIRMING lotion at night or PREMIUM MINERAL SPF30 during the day to keep skin soft and supple.
I hope you are all reaching out to friends and loved ones to keep connected to the outside world.
